La singularidad de la poesía de Ruy Páez de Ribera ha sido puesta de relieve en más de una ocasión por quienes se han ocupado de la poesía de cancionero, pese a que carecemos todavía de un estudio detenido e individualizado en profundidad que depure los errores o inexactitudes hasta hoy transmitidos. En este trabajo, establezco el inventario de su obra poética conservada y ofrezco un análisis de su transmisión textual, con especial detenimiento en PN1, manuscrito que recoge todos sus textos, así como las huellas que nos alertan de posibles pérdidas.
The uniqueness of Ruy Páez de Ribera's poetry has been highlighted on more than one occasion by those who have studied cancionero poetry, even though we still lack a detailed and individualized study that purifies the errors or inaccuracies transmitted until now. In this work, I establish the inventory of his preserved poetic work and offer an analysis of its textual transmission, with special attention to PN1, the manuscript that contains all his texts, as well as the traces that alert us to possible losses.
