Benavente Deleta Est El paisaje patrimonial perdido de la Villa de Benavente

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza la evolución de la ciudad de Benavente (Zamora) desde el punto de vista del concepto de paisaje patrimonial. Se estudia y trata de explicar cómo ha cambiado su trazado a lo largo del tiempo, debido a las vías y construcciones que la han ido transformando, en especial aquellas de carácter patrimonial, de las cuales, pocas se conservan en la actualidad. A continuación, el estudio profundiza sobre tres iglesias y tres conventos entre los desaparecidos, para finalmente elaborar, a partir de la información recopilada, planos hipótesis de su implantación. A partir de este análisis, se propone un primer esbozo de actuación urbana que contribuya a poner en valor el patrimonio perdido, fomentando su conocimiento y divulgación. Se pretende con ello, sembrar la semilla para futuras investigaciones que den a conocer el legado perdido de la ciudad en mayor detalle y así poder llegar a proyectar dicha actuación

This paper analyzes the evolution of the city of Benavente (Zamora) from the perspective of the concept of cultural landscape. It describes and explains its layout together with the heritage buildings that comprised it, few of which have survived to the present day. The study then takes a closer look at three churches and three convents that have dissapear, finally using the informatión gathered to draw up hypothetical plons of their implantation. Based on the analysis, an initial outline of urban action is proposed to help highlight the lost heritage, promoting its conservation and dissemination. The aim is to sow the sedds for future research that will reveal the city’s lost legacy in greater detail and thus enable the implementation of such action
