dc.description.abstractThis study evaluates the design and usefulness of online self-assessment quizzes using Socrative in the Calculation and Design of Chemical Reactors course at the University of Valladolid. Implemented from 2021 to 2025, these quizzes supported formative assessment, promoting motivation, self-learning, and progress monitoring. Students completed short quizzes during class, receiving instant feedback, while teachers obtained diagnostic reports for targeted instruction. Results showed gradual performance improvement over time. Socrative proved effective for engaging learning and real-time assessment. In 2025/2026, the system will transition to Wooclap, which enhances Moodle integration, feedback automation, and interactivity across multiple devices.es
