Abstract

El papel de las mujeres en el periodismo deportivo se ha visto relegado a un segundo plano durante la historia. Sin embargo, en los últimos años se ha producido un crecimiento significativo de los roles femeninos dentro del panorama deportivo, ya no solo como deportistas, sino también en funciones fundamentales como dirección, ingeniería, arbitraje o el periodismo. Be The One nace como una revista deportiva especializada en el deporte femenino, con el objetivo principal de darles a las mujeres ese foco mediático del que han sido históricamente excluidas. Un primer número sobre la Fórmula 1 Academy, acercará al lector a la categoría femenina de motor que impulsa a las jóvenes promesas hacia las máximas competiciones como la Fórmula 1, donde actualmente solo compiten hombres. Todo ello, promoviendo la igualdad de género en línea con la Agenda 2030, con una maquetación moderna y participativa.

The role of women in sports journalism has historically been relegated to the background. However, in recent years, there has been a significant growth in women's roles within the sports landscape, not only as athletes, but also in key roles such as management, engineering, refereeing, and journalism. Be The One was born as a sports magazine specializing in women's sports, with the primary objective of giving women the media spotlight from which they have historically been excluded. A first issue on the Formula 1 Academy will bring readers closer to the women's motorsports category that propels promising young talents toward top competitions such as Formula 1, where currently only men compete. All of this, promoting gender equality in line with the 2030 Agenda, with a modern and participatory layout.
