De la transición a la democracia: el papel de la mujer en los sindicatos CGT y CNT en la ciudad de Valladolid

Abstract

El presente Trabajo de Final de Grado tiene como objetivo el análisis del papel de la mujer en los sindicatos CGT y CNT en la ciudad de Valladolid durante los últimos años del franquismo hasta los primeros años de democracia. Dicho estudio se lleva a cabo desde una perspectiva histórica, feminista, anarcosindicalista y marxista, con la finalidad de comprender como la estructura sindical y el contexto social y político influyeron en la participación de las mujeres en los sindicatos. El estudio abarca tres periodos temporales relevantes: el tardofranquismo, la Transición y los primeros años de democracia donde se lleva a cabo un análisis de contexto nacional para luego tratar en mayor medida la Transición y los principios de democracia para el caso concreto de la CGT y la CNT en la ciudad de Valladolid. Durante el trabajo se tratarán los avances que se van implementando en la sociedad y los obstáculos a los que se enfrentan las mujeres en los sindicatos. Para ello, se utilizarán fuentes cualitativas basadas en archivos sindicales y fuentes documentales además de la entrevista a dos mujeres relevantes del movimiento anarcosindicalista en Valladolid, Katy Borrego e Isabel Arenales. El trabajo revela cómo el papel las mujeres fue limitado en cierta medida por factores estructurales y culturales. Asimismo evidencia que existió un mayor grado de apertura en los sindicatos anarcosindicalista CGT y CNT, pese a que sí persistieron los roles de género y las dinámicas patriarcales. Por lo tanto, este Trabajo de Final de Grado aporta una visión pionera sobre la ciudad de Valladolid, por ser un ámbito poco estudiado en el ámbito sindical y de género. Por lo contribuye en gran medida a la recuperación de la memoria histórica de los sindicatos CGT y CNT de Valladolid.

The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to analyze the role of women in the CGT and CNT unions in the city of Valladolid from the last years of the Franco regime to the first years of democracy. This study is conducted from a historical, feminist, anarcho-syndicalist, and Marxist perspective, aiming to understand how the union structure and the social and political context influenced women's participation in unions. The study covers three relevant time periods: the late Franco era, the Transition to the Revolution, and the first years of democracy. The project analyzes the national context and then delves deeper into the Transition and the principles of democracy for the specific case of the CGT and CNT in the city of Valladolid. The project will address the advances being implemented in society and the obstacles faced by women in unions. To this end, qualitative sources based on union archives and documentary sources will be used, as well as interviews with two prominent women from the anarcho-syndicalist movement in Valladolid, Katy Borrego and Isabel Arenales. The work reveals how women were limited to a certain extent by structural and cultural factors. It also shows that there was a greater degree of openness in the anarcho-syndicalist unions CGT and CNT, despite the persistence of gender roles and patriarchal dynamics. Therefore, this Final Degree Project provides a pioneering perspective on the city of Valladolid, as it is an area that has been understudied in the areas of unions and gender.
