La introducción de los juegos en social science: propuesta didáctica para el primer curso de Educación Primaria

Abstract

Actualmente, una de las principales funciones de las dinámicas lúdicas es fortalecer el proceso de aprendizaje en diversas áreas, tanto en contextos donde se emplea la lengua materna como en aquellos donde se utilizan lenguas extranjeras. A través del juego, se obtienen aprendizajes significativos en el ámbito bilingüe, ya que aumenta la motivación del alumnado y del mismo modo, refuerza y mejora su rendimiento académico. A lo largo del tiempo, diversos estudios han demostrado que el juego es una herramienta eficaz y requerida en la enseñanza que se emplea para enriquecer la educación. Las Ciencias Sociales están vinculadas al bilingüismo mediante el enfoque AICLE (Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenidos y Lenguas). En Educación Primaria, estas materias pueden suponer un desafío para el alumnado, debido al uso de la lengua inglesa como al desarrollo del pensamiento científico. Sin embargo, el uso del juego favorece un aprendizaje más natural, dinámico y significativo.

Nowadays, one of the main functions of playful dynamics is to strengthen the learning process in different subjects, both in contexts where the mother tongue is spoken and in those where the foreign language is used. Students can achieve meaningful learning in bilingual area through play, which increases their motivation and their academic performance. Over time, various studies have shown that play is an effective and essential tool in teaching, that enriches the leaning process. Social Science is linked to bilingualism through the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach. In Primary Education, these subjects can be challenging for students, either due to the demands of learning through English or the complexity of developing scientific thinking. However, the integration of play offers a more natural, dynamic and meaningful way to acquire knowledge.
