El rol del trabajador social y la trabajadora social en el abuso infantil en el entorno educativo

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado aborda la problemática del abuso a menores en el entorno educativo, con el objetivo de visibilizar el rol estratégico del trabajo social en su prevención y abordaje. A través de una metodología cualitativa, incluyendo una revisión del protocolo de Castilla y León y con la entrevista de una profesional del ámbito educativo, identificando ciertas limitaciones. Los resultados destacan que el trabajo social no solo es necesario, sino un elemento clave para garantizar la protección de menores, promoviendo entornos seguros mediante intervenciones interdisciplinares. Se propone implementar programas de formación docente y consolidar la presencia de trabajadores sociales en las escuelas para fortalecer los sistemas de protección. El caso de Alexandra Membrive fue víctima de abusos sexuales por parte de un conocido de la familia desde los 7 hasta los 9 años. Superó el dolor mediante terapia, transformándolo en resiliencia. En 2013, fundó la asociación “El Mundo de los ASI (Abuso Sexual Infantil)” para apoyar a otras personas que sufrieron abusos en la infancia. (Save the Children, 2020).

This Final Degree Project addresses the issue of child abuse in the educational environment, with the aim of highlighting the strategic role of social work in its prevention and treatment. Using a qualitative methodology, including a review of the Castile and León protocol and an interview with a professional in the field of education, certain limitations were identified. The results highlight that social work is not only necessary but also a key element in ensuring the protection of minors, promoting safe environments through interdisciplinary interventions. It is proposed to implement teacher training programmes and consolidate the presence of social workers in schools to strengthen protection systems. The case of Alexandra Membrive was a victim of sexual abuse by a family acquaintance from the age of 7 to 9. She overcame the pain through therapy, transforming it into resilience. In 2013, she founded the association ‘El Mundo de los ASI (Abuso Sexual Infantil)’ to support other people who suffered abuse in childhood. (Save the Children, 2020).
