La acogida de la inmigración en España desde la perspectiva del Trabajo Social

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado analiza el proceso de acogida de personas migrantes en situación irregular en España, con especial atención a la población africana. Se examinan las cifras y características del fenómeno migratorio actual junto con el correspondiente marco legislativo nacional y europeo. Además, se profundiza en la Protección Internacional y el funcionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Acogida de Protección Internacional. El trabajo pone en valor la figura del trabajador/a social como agente clave en la intervención, acompañamiento y defensa de los derechos de las personas migrantes, identificando los principales desafíos y limitaciones que enfrenta la práctica profesional en este ámbito. Finalmente, y como resultado del trabajo de revisión, se proponen una serie de mejoras orientadas para ello.

This final degree project analyses the reception process of migrants in an irregular situation in Spain, with special attention to the African population. The figures and characteristics of the current migratory phenomenon are examined together with the corresponding national and European legislative framework. In addition, the course provides an in-depth study of International Protection and the functioning of the National System for the Reception of International Protection. The work highlights the figure of the social worker as a key agent in the intervention, accompaniment and defense of the rights of migrants, identifying the main challenges and limitations faced by professional practice in this area. Finally, targeted improvements are proposed for this purpose.
