Abstract

Es una reseña de un libro sobre el estudio de los sacrificios humanos en el mundo antiguo. Se inicia con una aproximación al origen de lo sagrado, para deslizarse posteriormente al sacrifico humano y la magia ritual. Para introducirnos en el sacrifico del rey sagrado, algunas cuestiones ya analizadas en un texto del mismo autor. Continua con la teofagia y la mística de la eucaristía. Nos habla de la prostitución sagrada, mundo que ya en el tiempo antiguo era una dimensión habitual en varias de las culturas. Y finalizando con la exploración de la purificación, expiación y redención humana en el mundo arcaico

This is a review of a book on the study of human sacrifices in the ancient world. It begins with an approach to the origin of the sacred, to later slide into human sacrifice and ritual magic. To introduce us to the sacrifice of the sacred king, some issues already analyzed in a text by the same author. It continues with theophagy and the mysticism of the Eucharist. It speaks to us of sacred prostitution, a world that was already a common dimension in several cultures in ancient times. And ending with the exploration of human purification, atonement and redemption in the archaic world.
