La Biblioteca del escultor Juan de Villanueva y Barbales (1681-1765)

Abstract

En este artículo se presenta una propuesta de identificación de los libros y álbumes de estampas que formaron parte de la biblioteca del escultor Juan de Villanueva (cuyas referencias generales son conocidas gracias al inventario de bienes de su taller), analizando, al mismo tiempo, la influencia de esas publicaciones en su estilo.

A proposal of identification for the books and collections of engravings that the sculptor Juan de Villanueva had in his personal library (whose general references were collected in the inventory of his workshop) is presented in this article, analysing, at the same time, the influence that these publications had on the artist's style.
