Problemas en torno a la organización administrativa del Noroeste en los inicios del Imperio

Abstract

En este trabajo hacemos una aproximación al problema de la organización administrativa augustea durante el periodo de las guerras contra los pueblos del norte, a la luz de la información que la epigrafía de los últimos años, en especial, el edicto de Bembibre nos aporta. Las conclusiones que nos interesa subrayar son: - La creación de la provincia Transduriana se debió producir en el año 25 a.C. aunque la organización de la misma debió recaer en L. Sextio Quirinal hacia el 23-22 a.C., una vez acabadas las campañas del año 25. - Su final debió producirse después del año 15, quizás hacia el 13 a.C., coincidiendo con la probable constitución de la provincia Lusitania y la puesta en marcha de la estructura conventual, cuyo inicio debió producirse simultáneamente.

In this paper we make an approach to the problem of the administrative organization augustea during the period of the wars against the peoples of the north, in the light of the information provided that the epigraphy of recent years, in particular, the edict of Bembibre brings us. The conclusions that we are interested in stress are: - The creation of the province Transduriana was due occur in the year 25 BC, although the organization of the same should lie with L.
