En torno a la medicina romana

Abstract

La medicina ocupó una posición muy importante dentro de la civilización romana, y tuvo un gran desarrollo en Hispania. La tesis tradicional que apuntaba a una clara subordinación respecto a la medicina griega ha sido contestada en muchos estudios recientes. En el presente artículo se analiza la bibliografía sobre la medicina romana, con especial atención a la Hispania romana.

The medicine took up a very important position inside the Roman civilization, and it had a great development in Roman Spain. The traditional thesis that was pointing at a clear subordination with regard to the Greek medicine has been answered in many recent studies. In the present article the bibliography is analyzed on the Roman medicine, with special attention to the Roman Spain.
