This text analyses in a synthetic way the mixticity of matters which escorted the spreading of Howard's work in Spain (mainly throughout the magacine 'Civitas', voice of the 'Civic Society The City-Garden' -SCCJ) and points out, as well, the importance of the French influence, particularly that one of the Musée Social over the whole Spanish Movement of town planning leaded by SCCJ and its secretary until 1919, C. Montoliu.
