Sacerdocio femenino romano, mancha y tabú: estado de la cuestión Aguiar Esteban, Guillermo Rosa Cubo, María Cristina Universidad de Valladolid. Facultad de Filosofía y Letras Vestales Roma - Religión Las Vestales y la flamínica "Dialis" eran las sacerdotisas más importantes de la religión romana; el hecho de ser mujer y a su vez, estar en el ámbito religioso, les permitía participar del estado, obteniendo ciertos privilegios de los que el resto de féminas no disfrutaban; sin embargo, por su condición femenina, estas sacerdotisas debían acarrear con tabúes específicos que estaban en la obligación de respetar, para que no se dañara la "pax deorum". Con el trabajo se pretende la comparación de ambos sacerdocios en cuanto a "status", características e interdicciones. The Vestals and the flaminica "Dialis" were the most important roman religious priestesses; the fact of being women and at once, being in the religious scope, allowed them to participate in the state, obtaining certain privileges wich other females hadn´t; however, because of their female condition, those priestesses must carried with specific tabues which they must respect in order not to harm the "pax deorum".
