<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract" lang="es">The thesis describes the process of study and selection of the materials, variables of&#xd;
the process in the electrical resistance spot welding, monitoring system and the&#xd;
description of the mechanical test made for measure the mechanical quality of the&#xd;
unions.&#xd;
We want to describe and take control of all the variables of the process to be able to&#xd;
make correlations between the values of the different test (cross tension test and lap&#xd;
shear), which determinate the quality of the union, and the values with we weld. For&#xd;
knowing how is welding the machine, we need to study how can the machine fix the&#xd;
parameters. For measure the variables and verify the process, we need to use several&#xd;
monitoring systems&#xd;
Also, it is described the manufacture process of manufacture a fixture to make the&#xd;
cross tension test.</dim:field>
