El contexto escolar en el que nos educamos va a configurar en gran medida nuestra forma
de aprender. El objetivo de todo maestro debe ser el de guiar las necesidades de sus alumnos
y las suyas propias. Estas necesidades son, entre otras, las cognitivas, las corporales y las
emocionales. Desde esta perspectiva, el presente trabajo pretende, mediante un proceso de
observación y reflexión colaborativa, iniciar a los alumnos en la práctica de integrar el cuerpo
en la educación emocional contemplando el aprendizaje como un proceso en el que el cuerpo
no solo sea el vehículo o el continente de la inteligencia y la emoción. Esta visión holística
del aprendizaje se basa en la idea de que mente, cuerpo y emociones son un todo que es más
que la suma de sus partes.
The school context in which we are brought up largely defines our learning style. The aim of every teacher must be guiding his students’ needs and his own needs. These are cognitive, corporal and emotional needs among others.
From this point of view, the present work, using observation and collaborative thinking, has
the goal of initiating the students into the practice of integrating their bodies into the
emotional education; this implies considering learning as a process in which their bodies are
considered not only as the vehicle or the container of intelligence and emotion.
This holistic view of learning is based on the idea that mind, body and emotions are a whole
that is more than the sum of its parts.
