A lo largo de la historia de la educación, se ha trabajado la geografía en base a la
localización y memorización de los territorios, lagos, ríos, etc. este proyecto pretende
dejar de lado la idea de localización y memorización de mapas; para dar lugar a la
geografía del paisaje como un hilo conductor y generador de nuevos conocimientos.
Todo ello se plantea en base a un paisaje muy cercano al alumnado, un río, más
concretamente el río Carrión, que con sus aguas baña la provincia Palentina y dota de
diversos recursos a sus habitantes. Empleándolo también, como un recurso
indispensable en la etapa de Educación Primaria, junto con las salidas escolares.
Throughout the history of education, geography has worked based on the location and

thread and generating new knowledge. All this arises based on a landscape very close to
