El trabajo fin de grado que aquí se presenta tiene como principal objetivo analizar el
método Jolly Phonics para acercar al alumnado1 de 4 y 5 años al proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje
de lecto-escritura en inglés. Para ello, se parte de la situación real del aula y se
observa el momento de desarrollo en el que se encuentran para la lectura y escritura en su
lengua materna. Por medio del método Jolly Phonics se pretende trabajar la lecto-escritura
desde el sistema “synthetic phonics” para que el alumnado aprenda los fonemas de las
letras de forma multisensorial y divertida. El proyecto se cierra con la recogida de los
posibles resultados de la propuesta y las conclusiones acerca de su eficacia de los métodos
fonéticos para el desarrollo de los actos de lectura y escritura en ambos idiomas.
This research work presented here has as main objective analyze the Jolly Phonics method
to bring the students of 4 and 5 years to the process of teaching and learning of literacy in
English. To do this, we start observing the actual situation of the classroom and the time of
development in which they are to read and write in their mother tongue. Through the Jolly
Phonics method it is to work reading and writing from the system "synthetic phonics" so
that pupils learn the phonemes of the letters in a multisensory and fun form. The project
ends with the collection of possible outcomes of the proposal and the conclusions about
effectiveness of phonics methods for the development of acts of reading and writing in
both languages.
