Para ello se han propuesto varias actividades diferenciadas por niveles (equivalentes a los cursos de segundo, tercero y cuarto de ESO) en las que se usan instrumentos de percusión con el fin de dotar al alumnado de un pensamiento musical de carácter holístico. Como consecuencia también contribuirá a desarrollar la creatividad y el pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes. Following a thorough analysis of the methodology that is currently used in the music classrooms within the Secondary School years, and a systematic review of the different pedagogical tendencies related to the mentioned subject, the research from the present study has been focused on the utilitation of percussion as main music teaching method. For that reason, several activities have been proposed (all of them equivalent to second, third and fourth year of Secondary School) in which percussion instruments are used with the aim of providing the students with a full holistic and musical thinking.
