Evolución reciente de las diferencias económicas internacionales

Hoy en día, siguen existiendo diferencias económicas entre los países. Estos
países que se engloban bajo el término subdesarrollados, pertenecen
principalmente al continente africano. Son regiones donde la esperanza de vida
y el PIB per cápita son muy bajos. Además, cuentan con una elevada
desnutrición y una falta de infraestructuras básicas. El problema del
subdesarrollo se está achacando en la actualidad a las denominadas “trampas
de la pobreza”, es decir, factores que influyen negativamente en el desarrollo de
estas regiones y que se reproducen sistemáticamente. Son países que han
sufrido y sufren numerosos conflictos bélicos, lo que supone un gasto militar
enorme. Al mismo tiempo, cuentan con recursos naturales, sin embargo, no son
capaces de aprovecharlos para obtener su máximo beneficio. Otro factor que
influye negativamente al desarrollo es la inexistencia de salida al mar de muchos
de estos países, y, por último, la forma de gobierno que poseen estas regiones,
no siempre es la más adecuada para promover el desarrollo.
Nowadays, economic differences between countries still exist. These countries
that are called “underdeveloped”, belong principally to the African continent. They
are regions where the life expectancy and the GDP are very low. In addition, they
possess high malnutrition and a great lack of basic infrastructures. The problem
of the underdevelopment is currently tied to the “traps of the poverty”, that is to
say, factors that have a negative impact on the development of these regions and
that are reproduced systematicly. They are countries that have suffered and
continue to suffer numerous armed conflicts, which supposes a military enormous
expense. At the same time, they have natural resources, nevertheless, they are
unable to take advantage of them to obtain their maximum benefit. Another factor
is the lack of access to the sea from many of these countries, and, finally, the
form of governance that they have, not always it is most adapted to promote the
development.
