El presente trabajo consiste en diseñar una propuesta de intervención para desarrollar el aprendizaje autorregulado en el alumno superdotado. Para ello, realizaremos un breve análisis sobre este tipo de aprendizaje y sus modelos más representativos, centrándonos en el modelo de Zimmerman (1989). A Continuación, se mostrarán las diferentes acepciones para referirnos a este tipo de alumnado, así como sus características más relevantes, y finalmente analizaremos en qué punto ambas convergen, para poder así diseñar una propuesta de intervención lo más ajustada posible a dichos factores.
Possessing high capacities does not guarantee academic success, moreover, a high percentage of
these students go unnoticed in the classroom or have learning difficulties which lead them to fail
both academically and personally. In order to offer a quality educational response that develops
all his/her potential in this student, the use of Zimmerman's self-regulated learning model is
proposed. The mastery and proper use of its phases and processes will help the student not only
to gain self-confidence but also to develop autonomous learning thus participating actively in
their learning process. Consequently, an eductional proposal to develop the self-regulated
learning in gifted students.
