La crónica taurina en la era digital: historia, evolución y propuestas de innovación

La crónica taurina ha vivido unida a la historia de España desde hace siglos. Sin embargo,
los tiempos presentes se han desvinculado de este género periodístico. Por ello, el presente
estudio pretende conocer la evolución de este género desde sus orígenes hasta su
adaptación a los nuevos paradigmas de la era digital y comprobar si, de forma efectiva,
los medios han incorporado a sus crónicas taurinas el lenguaje propio de los cibergéneros,
caracterizado por la hipertextualidad, multimedialidad e interactividad.
Este presente estudio aborda una aproximación a la cuestión del análisis de la evolución
de la crónica taurina, así como la enumeración de una serie de propuestas de innovación.
Esta investigación se centra en el análisis de los medios nativos especializados Cultoro.es
y Mundotoro.com así como de los no nativos y generalistas El Mundo y ABC. Tras el
establecimiento de un marco teórico y el análisis empírico de 126 crónicas taurinas
escritas por diez periodistas diferentes, se estudia la adaptación del lenguaje multimedia
en estas piezas periodísticas. Del mismo modo, y dado que la tauromaquia es uno de los
temas más polémicos del presente siglo XXI, se analiza la influencia de estas crónicas
tanto en los foros de los medios de comunicación que se publican como en las redes
sociales.
The bullfighting chronicle has lived together with the history of Spain for centuries.
However, the present times have been disconnected from this journalistic genre.
Therefore, the present study aims to understand the evolution of this genre from its origins
to its adaptation to the new paradigms of the digital age and to see if, effectively, the
media have incorporated into their bullfighting chronicles the language of cyber-genres,
characterized by hypertextuality, multimedia and interactivity.
This present study addresses an approach to the question of the analysis of the evolution
of the chronic taurine, as well as the enumeration of a series of proposals for innovation.
This research focuses on the analysis of specialized native media Cultoro.es and
Mundotoro.com as well as the non-native and generalist El Mundo and ABC. After the
establishment of a theoretical framework and the empirical analysis of 126 bullfighting
chronicles written by ten different journalists, the adaptation of multimedia language in
these journalistic pieces is studied. In the same way, and given that bullfighting is one of
the most controversial issues of the 21st century, the influence of these chronicles is
analyzed both in the forums of the media that are published and in social networks.
