El uso del cine en la enseñanza de la filosofía: una propuesta didáctica

Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster incide en el potencial de la cinematografía para la
didáctica de la filosofía y pretende mostrar el porqué de dicho potencial del
séptimo arte. Propondremos para ello una unidad didáctica compuesta por
cuatro actividades realizables en el aula y en casa en torno a la película Tiempo
después (2018), de José Luis Cuerda. La unidad didáctica está diseñada en torno a
los contenidos relacionados con las teorías socio-políticas de época de la
Revolución Industrial (capitalismo primigenio, Hegel, Marx, Engels, etc.),
pertenecientes al Bloque 6 de la asignatura obligatoria de Filosofía de primero
de Bachillerato. La película seleccionada presenta, en clave de comedia, una
distopía que se convierte en metáfora del capitalismo salvaje. La propuesta
didáctica ha sido contextualizada dentro de la legislación vigente, tanto nacional
(LOMCE) como autonómica (Castilla y León).
This dissertation focuses on the potentials of films for the teaching of philosophy.
It aims at showing the reasons for this through a teaching unit consisting of four
activities to be carried out in the classroom and at home. The film selected as the
basis for these tasks is Tiempo después (2018) directed by José Luis Cuerda. The
contents dealt with in the teaching unit belong to Section 6 of the curriculum for
“Philosophy”, taught as a compulsory subject in the first year of “Bachillerato”:
the socio-political theories born during the Industrial Revolution (first steps in
industrial capitalism, Hegel, Marx, Engels, etc.). Tiempo después is a comedy set
in a dystopian future which can be interpreted as a metaphor of wild capitalism.
The teaching proposal has been framed within the current legislation, both in
Spain (LOMCE) and in Castilla & León.
