Tras un análisis de distintas crisis económicas ocurridas en momentos diferentes de la historia mundial, observamos que el comportamiento del ser humano es cíclico y repite una y otra vez los mismos errores. El trabajo comienza con el análisis de una serie de conceptos presentes en la actualidad, “burbujas de crédito” y “manías”, pero que llevan siendo parte del mercado global desde los orígenes del crédito y las entidades bancarias. El cuerpo del mismo, se centra en analizar y contextualizar cada uno de los elementos propios de una crisis económica en las distintas épocas de la historia, según el modelo ideado por el profesor y economista Hyman Minsky. El trabajo finaliza con un repaso de los conceptos y las múltiples preocupaciones que marcaron el día a día de muchos ciudadanos y países hasta hace muy poco con la crisis del 2009, última gran crisis financiera.
