Impacto de las tecnologías de energías renovables en la UVa para la descarbonización ambiental

El cambio climático, asociado con los gases de efecto invernadero presentes
en la atmósfera, representa en la actualidad una problemática de carácter global, y
son muchos los organismos nacionales e internacionales que buscan una solución.
El uso de las energías renovables es una de las alternativas más factibles para
reducir las emisiones de estos gases, en particular del dióxido de carbono.
Este trabajo se centra el impacto que tiene en el medio ambiente la utilización
de fuentes de energía renovables por parte de la Universidad de Valladolid, en el
contexto de la descarbonización ambiental. Con este fin se enumeran y describen las
diferentes tecnologías renovables implantadas en la UVa, para posteriormente
realizar un análisis del peso de las energías renovables en el consumo energético y
en las emisiones de dióxido de carbono de la Universidad.
Climate change, associated with the presence of greenhouse effect gases in
the atmosphere, represents nowadays a global problematic, and there are many
international and national organisations searching for a solution. The use of
renewable energies is one of the most feasible alternatives in order to reduce the
emission of these gases, particularly carbon dioxide.
This Project is focused on the impact that the usage of renewable energy
sources by the University of Valladolid has on the environment, in the context of
environmental decarbonization. In order to do this, the different renewable
tecnologies installed in the UVa are listed and described, to later analyze the impact
that renewable energies have on the energetic consumption and carbon dioxide
emissions of the University.
