Análisis sociodemográfico del suicidio en España Serrate Fuentes-Dávila, Mar Rodríguez Sumaza, María del Carmen El suicidio es una causa de muerte externa socialmente estigmatizada y propiciada por diversos factores. Se pretende dar a conocer el suicidio desde una perspectiva sociodemográfica, atendiendo a cada uno de los factores que lo favorecen, tanto individuales como familiares y contextuales. Se ha elaborado, para ello, un análisis estadístico-descriptivo tanto a nivel mundial y europeo como nacional, desagregándolo, a su vez, por comunidades autónomas, incidiendo en aquellas provincias cuyas tasas de suicidio son más llamativas. El fin último es identificar las disparidades entre las distintas áreas geográficas españolas, atendiendo también a la edad y el sexo de su población. Finalmente, se abordan las actividades de prevención contra el suicidio que llevan a cabo las asociaciones, así como los programas vigentes en nuestro país y en las Comunidades Autónomas, con el fin de dar solución a este grave problema social. Suicide is a socially stigmatized external death cause and caused by several factors. It is intended to make known suicide from a sociodemographic perspective, attending to each of the factors that favor, as well as family and contextual. For this purpose, a statistical-descriptive analysis has been drawn up at a global, European and national level, disaggregating it, in turn, by autonomous communities, with the most striking striking suicide rates in the provinces. The ultimate goal is to identify the disparities between the Spanish geographical areas, also taking into account the age and sex of its population.
