Su detección precoz ayuda a que los cambios que se producen en el sistema visual sean reversibles. La cuantificación de la estereopsis proporciona una medida de la fusión sensorial asociándose a un buen desarrollo visual. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es comparar las medidas tomadas con el nuevo software Visionary Tool® con los datos obtenidos mediante el uso de tres test clínicos: el Test de la mosca (Stereo Fly Test), el test estereoscópico de Randot y el Test TNO, así como calcular la repetibilidad del test presente en el software en estudio. Se realizaron tres medidas consecutivas del test de estereopsis presente en Visionary Tool®, además de una única medida de la estereopsis con los tres test clínicos incluidos en el estudio: TNO, Titmus test y Test de Randot. Para comprobar la validez de este nuevo test en estudio se ha analizado su repetibilidad intrasesión a través de varios parámetros: la desviación intrasesión (Sw), la precisión intrasesión (P), la repetibilidad, el coeficiente de variación (CV) y el coeficiente de correlación intraclase (CCI) y el acuerdo con otros test usando análisis de Bland and Altman. The quantification of stereopsis provides a measure of sensory fusion associated with correct visual development.
