España se sitúa como el segundo país de Europa con mayores tasas de
desempleo. Por ello, resulta interesante realizar un análisis de los
determinantes que influyen sobre este desempleo.
Como se quiere conocer cómo afectan las características personales del
individuo a la probabilidad de que éste se encuentre en situación de
desempleo, el modelo elegido es un logit. A través de un modelo logit se puede
analizar la influencia de cada determinante a la tasa de desempleo del país.
Tras el análisis de los resultados del estudio desarrollado se obtendrán datos
explicativos del desempleo español, donde los determinantes más influyentes
resultan ser la edad y el nivel de estudios.

unemployment rates. Therefore, it is interesting to carry out an analysis of the
determinants that influence this unemployment.
Since we want to know how the personal characteristics of the individual
affect the probability that they are unemployed, the chosen model is a logit. The
influence of each determinant on the country's unemployment rate can be
analyzed through a logit model.
After analyzing the results of the study carried out, explanatory data on Spanish
unemployment will be obtained, where the most influential determinants turn out
to be age and educational level.
