Este trabajo muestra el elevado desempleo juvenil existente en España, y
pone de manifiesto que es un problema estructural en el que los factores clave
del mismo son la polarización de la educación hacia la formación universitaria, la
elevada temporalidad de los contratos laborales, el desajuste entre la formación
recibida por parte del individuo y las competencias demandadas por el sector
empresarial, entre otros. La metodología usada se basa en el estudio descriptivo
de los datos procedentes del Instituto Nacional de Estadística y de la Encuesta
de Población Activa. El estudio infiere que la distribución de las tasas de
desempleo juvenil no es homogénea, si no que afecta a los grupos más jóvenes,
a los individuos menos formados y a las mujeres principalmente.
This work shows the highest youth unemployment in the spanish territory,
and tells that It is an structural fact wich is caused by the polarization of the
education to the university studies, the high temporality of the work contracts, the
break between the knowledge that the people have and the knowledge that the
companies want, as many others. The metodology used is based in a
descpriptive study of the data included in the National Institute of Statistics and
in the Labour Force Survey. The study take care about the heterogeneus
distribution betweeen the youth unemployment rates, the unemployment affect
more to the youngest groups, the less formed people and the women mainly.
