Cine y diseño son disciplinas claramente relacionadas a muy diversos niveles, se trata de
dos áreas donde una gran infinidad de conceptos y técnicas se presentan como comunes
y complementarias: estética, espacio, imagen, color, tipografía, cartelismo…
El estudio de la relación, paralelismos y similitudes que estas dos ciencias presentan
resulta haber sido, tras comenzar como objeto principal del presente proyecto, la raíz de
lo que más tarde nos ha llevado a investigar el inmenso vacío que existe sobre el papel de
la mujer en estas dos ramas. La casi ausencia de nombres femeninos nos empujó a desviar
el estudio inicial y profundizar en la contribución de la mujer en cine y diseño español.
Así, podemos dividir el proceso en dos partes claras; cine y diseño y cine, diseño y mujer
siendo la segunda la parte esencial del proyecto.
Además de la parte de investigación se ha creado y desarrollado un libro a modo de
recopilación del tema protagonista, como solución al deseo de materializar dicha
investigación.
Film and design are two disciplines clearly related at many levels, these are two areas
where a great infinity of concepts and techniques appear as common and complementary:
aesthetics, space, image, color, typography, poster ...
The study of the relationship, parallels and similarities that these two sciences present
turns out to have been, after starting as the main object of this project, the root of what
later has taken us to investigate the immense gap that exists on the role of women in these
two branches. The almost absence of female names pushed us to divert the initial study
and deepen in the contribution of women in Spanish cinema and design. Thus, we can
divide the process into two clear parts; cinema and design and cinema, design and women,
the latter being the essential part of the project.
In addition to the research part, a book has been created and developed as a compilation
of the main theme, as a solution to the desire of materializing our research.
