Arquitecturas a flor de piel. La experiencia sensorial en espacios contemporáneos Arce Antón, Blanca Delia Rodríguez Fernández, Carlos A pesar de que las palabras nunca serán capaces de sustituir a la propia experiencia corporal, se expone dicho trabajo con la intención de acercarnos a una arquitectura sensorial. En un primer momento estos temas pueden parecer demasiados subjetivos, pero se apoyan en la fenomenología, ciencia que analiza y estudia las esencias y las experiencias. Podría decirse que la fenomenología en la arquitectura va de la mano del concepto ''atmósferas"; se habla así, de una sensibilidad emocional y una percepción inmediata cuando nos vemos inmersos en la propia arquitectura. La arquitectura considerada como una obra de arte, conllevará con el individuo un intercambio de emociones. Esta experiencia debe ser multisensorial. El ser humano posee cinco sentidos que utiliza inconscientemente para relacionarse con el mundo y cada uno de ellos identifica distintas cualidades del espacio; así habl aremos en dicho t rabajo de la visión incandescente, del reino háptico, del oído acariciando los lím ites del espacio, de la insinuación del gusto, e incluso de un sexto sentido en relación con las experiencias y la memoria. Tras hablar de una arquitectura que podemos percibir a través de nuestros sentidos, mencionaremos ciertos aspectos que entran en juego cuando hablamos de algo tan subjetivo como un ambiente concreto. Para ayudarnos a entender estos aspectos que consiguen despertar en nosotros una serie de sentimientos; analizaremos de forma teórica y práctica, de una forma experimental, cuatro casos concretos: La capilla Bruder Klaus de Peter Zumthor, La torre del Holocausto en el museo judío de Berlín, la exposición The weather project de Olafur Eliasson y el pabelon Blur Bui lding de Di ller Scofidio. Entendemos estos cuatro casos cómo contenedores de sensaciones, dónde el autor ha sabido proyectar para el cuerpo y donde el visitante es capaz de sentir la esencia del lugar. Although words will never be able to replace the body experience itself, this work is exposed with the purpose of getting closer to a sensory architecture. At first these topics may seem too subjective, however they rely on phenomenology, which is the science that analyses and studies essences and experiences. lt could be said that in the architecture, phenomenology goes hand in hand with the concept "atmospheres"; referring to an emotional sensitivity and an immediate perception when we find ourselves immersed in the own architecture. The architect ure, when it is considered as a work of art, will lead to an exchange of emotions with the individual. This experience must be multisensory. The human being possesses five senses, which are unconsciously utilized to relate t o t he world and each of them identifies different qual ities of space. Thereby in th is work t he incandescent vision, t he haptic real m, the ear caressing the limits of space, t he hint of taste, and even a sixth sense in relation to experiences and memory will be deal wit h. After considering an architecture that people can perceive through the five senses, certain aspects that come into play when something as subjective as a concrete environment is concerning will be mentioned. To help the understood of these aspects that achieve a series of feelings awake in human being, four concrete cases we will be analyse in a theoretical and practica! way: The Bruder Klaus chapel by Peter Zumthor, The Holocaust tower in the Jewish Museum in Berl ín, The Weather Project exhibition by Olafur Eliasson and Blur Building by Di ler Scofidio.
