Ramsfield, Tod Hsian, Tom Wilson, Richard Díez Casero, Julio Javier 2018 Producción Científica This special issue of The Forestry Chronicle contains a selection of papers based on presentations made during the meeting of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) Working Party 7.02.02 “Foliage, Shoot and Stem Diseases” held in Niagara Falls, Ontario, 7–11, May 2017. Forty-four scientists from 14 countries in Europe and North America attended, and 41 oral and 24 poster presentations were given. The theme of the meeting was “Invasive forest pathogens and implications for biology and policy”. The papers within this special issue reflect this theme through their focus on invasive species, a policy framework for invasive species, and potential management tools for forest pathogens.
