Le Corbusier (1887-1965)
Es indudable que Le Corbusier fue y es uno de los grandes maestros de la arquitectura del siglo XX, y que a día
de hoy sigue dando de qué hablar gracias a su obra, tanto construida como teórica. A su vez es innegable la
influencia que este ha tenido en el futuro de la arquitectura ya no solo en como la pensamos, sino de como la
imaginamos. Llegando inclusive conquistar la gran pantalla de una forma indirecta, en donde la ciencia ficción
nos ha dado visiones tanto utópicas como distópicas, de lo que podría ser nuestro futuro y el de nuestras urbes.
There is no doubt that Le Corbusier was and is one of the greatest masters of architecture of the 20th century, and
that to this day he continues giving us something to talk about thanks to his work, both constructed and theoretical.
At the same time, the influence that this has had on the future of architecture is undeniable, not only in how we think
about it, but also in how we imagine it. Even conquering the big screen in an indirect way, where science fiction has
given us both utopian and dystopian visions of what our future and that of our cities could be.
