El esquí como método de enseñanza en Educación Primaria

El esquí es un deporte minoritario en nuestro país, por lo tanto es un gran desconocido
para nuestra sociedad, generalmente por el alto coste que éste implica para poder
practicarlo. Aún así, el esquí fomenta los valores propios del deporte, además de una
forma alternativa para trabajar la psicomotricidad del alumnado mediante la mejora de
la coordinación y el equilibrio.
Se presenta una propuesta para que se pueda integrar la práctica del esquí en los centros
de Educación Primaria, durante el segundo trimestre y dirigida al tercer ciclo de
primaria. La propuesta no pretende un perfeccionamiento y que el alumnado alcance un
gran nivel, sino alcanzar objetivos de la educación física mediante el esquí, y que el
alumnado tenga una primera toma de contacto con este deporte.
Aquí se pretende acercar este deporte a los alumnos y alumnas que, debido a
circunstancias personales, no puedan experimentar, los aprendizajes y experiencias que
ofrece el esquí, fuera del ámbito escolar.
Ski is considered a minority sport in our country; hence, it is a great unknown in our
society due to the high cost it involves when you practice it. Nevertheless, sky improves
own values of sport and it is an alternative way to work students psychomotricity
through the improvement of coordination and balance.
It is presented as a proposal to include this sport in primary schools sport programmes
during the second term between third grade primary students. This offer pretend neither
the perfection of students, nor they getting an almost professional level, but getting
Physical Education aims by this sport. Besides, children make first contact with ski.
Here, it is pretended to enclose this sport with students who, due to individual
circumstances, cannot try out the knowledge and experiences that ski offers away from
school setting.
