Uno de los objetivos principales para este régimen fue la educación, por lo que maestros, profesores y catedráticos fueron sometidos a un proceso de depuración para perpetuar en las nuevas generaciones los valores defendidos por el franquismo a través del control y la violencia. With the victory of the national side in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the dictatorship led by General Francisco Franco began a hard repression of different sectors of the society in order to consolidate and legitimize itself in power.
