Facultad de Filosofía y Letras Cobos Ceballos, Yaiza 2021 Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado nace con el objetivo principal de analizar las noticias y editoriales, en los medios digitales de ABC y elDiario.es, sobre las tres investigaciones abiertas por el Tribunal Supremo a Juan Carlos I por un presunto blanqueo de capitales. La muestra escogida (N=156) para realizar el estudio son las noticias y editoriales publicados en ambos medios de comunicación durante cuatro meses, de junio a noviembre de 2020. Estas fechas corresponden con la apertura de la primera investigación del Tribunal Supremo a Juan Carlos I, el 8 de junio por las supuestas comisiones ilegales, la segunda investigación el 3 de noviembre, por un presunto delito fiscal por el uso de tarjetas “black”, y la tercera y última, el 8 de noviembre, por un supuesto blanqueo de capitales. En su análisis se emplean una doble metodología; el análisis de contenido y el análisis del discurso. Los resultados muestran que la salida del rey aparece como un tema prioritario en ambos diarios y que los medios de comunicación no están realizando ninguna investigación propia.
