Facultad de Filosofía y Letras Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado nace con el objetivo principal de analizar las noticias y editoriales, en los medios digitales de ABC y elDiario.es, sobre las tres investigaciones abiertas por el Tribunal Supremo a Juan Carlos I por un presunto blanqueo de capitales. La muestra escogida (N=156) para realizar el estudio son las noticias y editoriales publicados en ambos medios de comunicación durante cuatro meses, de junio a noviembre de 2020. Estas fechas corresponden con la apertura de la primera investigación del Tribunal Supremo a Juan Carlos I, el 8 de junio por las supuestas comisiones ilegales, la segunda investigación el 3 de noviembre, por un presunto delito fiscal por el uso de tarjetas “black”, y la tercera y última, el 8 de noviembre, por un supuesto blanqueo de capitales. En su análisis se emplean una doble metodología; el análisis de contenido y el análisis del discurso. Los resultados muestran que la salida del rey aparece como un tema prioritario en ambos diarios y que los medios de comunicación no están realizando ninguna investigación propia. This Final Degree Project was created with the main objective of analyzing the news and editorials, in the digital media of ABC and elDiario.es, about the three investigations opened by the Supreme Court to Juan Carlos I for an alleged money laundering.
