La inversión sostenible y responsable (ISR) es un fenómeno que actualmente
tiene mucho peso en los mercados financieros. La mentalidad de la sociedad ha
cambiado y esto se ha trasladado a los mercados, tanto inversores, como
asesores financieros y gestores de fondos han aumentado su interés por este
nuevo tipo de inversiones. El objetivo de este trabajo es demostrar si la inversión
en fondos sostenibles es algo real y ofrece la misma rentabilidad o incluso mayor
que la inversión tradicional. Primero, se sentarán las bases de un marco teórico
para finalmente realizar un análisis práctico comparativo entre fondos de
inversión tradicionales y fondos de inversión que incorporan criterios ESG
Sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) is a recent phenomenon who has an enormous presence in financial markets. Society’s mindset has changed, this fact has caused an effect in financial markets as well as investors, financial advisors, and asset management firms. There has been a increased in this new type of investments. The aim of this paper is to prove that sustainable and responsible investment is real, and this type of investment can generate a return similar to traditional investment funds or even better. First, a theorical framework will be exposed. Second, a comparative analysis between traditional funds and ESG funds.
