El presente trabajo trata de analizar las causas y consecuencias del escándalo
de MATESA en el ámbito económico, histórico, judicial y político.
Del mismo modo; se hará una breve introducción del contexto histórico, las leyes
que regulaban aspectos económicos como las exportaciones y la situación
política de la época final del franquismo en la que la controversia entre el
Gobierno causaría la primera crisis pública de la dictadura franquista.
Por último, se explicará la responsabilidad de MATESA y las instituciones del
Estado, la conducta jurídica ilegal y su aplicación según el antiguo Código Penal,
la importancia de la prensa y de los políticos en el caso y el proceso judicial hasta
que fue disuelta MATESA
The study of this work focuses on analysing the causes and consequences of the MATESA´s scandal in the economic, historic, judicial and political issues.
Therefore; there will be a brief introduction about the historical context, the laws which regulated economical aspects such as the exportations and the political situation at the end of Franco's regime in which the controversy between the government would cause the first public crisis of the Franco´s dictatorship.
Lastly, the responsibility of MATESA and the state institutions, the illegal legal conduct and its application under the old Penal Code, the importance of the press and politicians in the case and the judicial process until MATESA was dissolved will be explained.
