El bienestar es un concepto ambiguo cuya medición depende, entre otras cosas,
del concepto de bienestar y de los indicados utilizados. Este trabajo se centra en la
versión macro del indicador de bienestar elaborado por Charles Jones y Peter
Klenow en el año 2016. Se describe y comenta la metodología utilizada para su
elaboración y se realiza una aplicación del indicador a las 17 Comunidades
Autónomas españolas, analizando el aporte de los componentes del indicador. Todo
esto se hace con la finalidad de evaluar el uso del indicador a nivel regional y
compararlo con otras medidas del bienestar
Wellbeing is an ambiguous concept whose estimation depends, among other things, on the concept itself and the indicators that are used. This project is centered on the macro version of the wellbeing indicator developed by Charles Jones and Peter Klenow in 2016. Its methodology is described and commented on and an application of it is done on the 17 Spanish Autonomous Communities while the contribution of each component is analyzed. All of this is done with the goal of evaluating the usability of the indicator at a regional level and comparing it with other wellbeing metrics.
