El presente trabajo se centra, entre otros puntos, en estudiar la evolución
del sector textil español de los últimos años hacia una notable pero aún tímida
mejoría, causada principalmente por una recuperación de la economía
nacional, así como diversos significados que posee dicho sector en la vida de
las personas, ya sea desde un punto de vista diferenciador, o de libertad, por
mencionar algunos. La moda, asimismo, tras el paso de los años, y la evolución
de las tecnologías, ha ido experimentando una transformación considerable
hacia un modelo de negocio donde lo que impera es el consumo rápido, y el
cambio de tendencias en un periodo mucho más breve de tiempo, pasando a
denominarse como fast fashion, propiciado por firmas como Zara o H&M entre
otras.
This thesis focuses, among other points, on studying the evolution of the Spanish textile industry in recent years towards a remarkable but still timid improvement, caused mainly by a recovery of the national economy, as well as various meanings that this industry has in people's lives, either from a differentiating point of view, or freedom, to mention a few. Fashion, also, after the passing of the years, and the evolution of technologies, has been experiencing an exorbitant transformation towards a business model where what prevails is fast consumption, and where trends change in a much shorter period of time, becoming known as fast fashion, promoted by firms such as Zara or H&M among others.
