Este proyecto trata del diseño, fabricación y ensayo de máscaras de protección
facial específicas para las lesiones nasales y para cada paciente. Dicha
fabricación se realizará en diferentes materiales, y se emplearán dos procesos
de fabricación diferentes, la impresión 3D y el termoconformado.
Para la fabricación de dichas máscaras mediante termoconformado, se habrán
empleado materiales compuestos, y el molde empleado en dicho proceso, será
fabricado en impresión 3D.
Dentro del trabajo se realizará un estudio previo de ambos procesos de
fabricación, así como de los materiales empleados durante el proyecto.
Una vez realizado el correspondiente estudio e investigación de los procesos
anteriores se habrá detallado el proceso de diseño CAD de la máscara, así
como el procedimiento seguido en la fabricación de éstas.
Por último, se habrán sometido dichas máscaras a ensayos mecánicos,
realizando después un estudio de los resultados obtenidos y las posibles vías
de futuro del proyecto.
This project deals with the design, manufacture and testing of facial protection masks specifically for nasal lesions and for each patient. This manufacturing will be carried out in different materials, and two different manufacturing
processes will be used, 3D printing and thermoforming.
For the manufacture of these masks by thermoforming, composite materials
will have been used, and the mould used in this process will be manufactured
in 3D printing.
The work will include a preliminary study of both manufacturing processes, as
well as the materials used during the project.
Once the corresponding study and investigation of the previous processes has
been carried out, the CAD design process of the mask will have been detailed,
as well as the procedure followed in its manufacture.
Finally, the masks will have been subjected to mechanical tests, followed by a
study of the results obtained and the possible ways forward for the project.
