Este trabajo pretende analizar gráficamente los cambios producidos en el recinto amurallado en los dos últimos siglos, entendiendo los motivos históricos, socioeconómicos y urbanísticos y sus consecuencias en el devenir de la capital. Para ello se analizará la ciudad actual y se restituirán seis momentos de la forma urbana, comprobando si hoy en día es aún posible leer los rasgos que distinguieron la ciudad en su pasado o si los cambios producidos han transgredido profundamente su morfología e identidad. Since the 19th century, the historic centre of Salamanca has undergone a gradual transformation, which has radically changed the image of the city and its urban layout. This work aims to graphically analyse the changes that have taken place in the walled enclosure over the last two centuries, understanding the historical, socio-economic and urbanistic reasons and their consequences in the future of the capital.
