El globo ocular es el órgano a través del cual percibimos la información
visual del ambiente que nos rodea. Este órgano es el responsable de la
captación de la energía luminosa y su transformación en impulsos nerviosos que
llegan al cerebro para posteriormente ser procesados.
En este trabajo se realiza un atlas histológico con imágenes de las partes que
constituyen el globo ocular obtenidas de microscopios virtuales con la finalidad
de asociar las diferentes partes del globo ocular a los tejidos que constituyen
cada una de estas partes. La elaboración del trabajo servirá como apoyo para
ayudar en la parte de Histología a los alumnos que cursen la asignatura
"Biología, Genética e Histología del Sistema Visual" en grados como Óptica y
Optometría.
The eyeball is the organ through which we perceive visual information from the
environment around us. This organ is responsible for capturing light energy and
transforming it into nerve impulses that reach the brain for further processing.
In this work, is shown histological atlas is made with images of the parts that
make up the eyeball obtained from virtual microscopes in order to associate the
different parts of the eyeball with the tissues that make up each of these parts.
The elaboration of the work will serve as a support to help in the Histologycal
part of the subject "Biology, Genetics and Histology of the Visual System" in
degrees such as Optics and Optometry.
