En el primer cuarto del siglo XX se multiplica el número de revistas que difunde a través de dibujos e ilustraciones nuevos tipos de mujer. Una nueva iconografía, muy diferente a la anterior, tanto en forma como en contenido. Destaca frente a los otros arquetipos: la Eva moderna, que plasma la independencia y libertad que va adquiriendo la mujer del siglo XX.
España, siguiendo la moda extranjera, se une a esta tendencia. Y con la ayuda de ilustradores gráficos cómo Rafael de Penagos y Salvador Bartolozzi difunde por todo el ámbito nacional esta nueva concepción de mujer
In the first quarter of the 20th century, the number of magazines that disseminated new types of women through drawings and illustrations multiplied. A new iconography, very different from the previous one, both in form and content, stands out from the other archetypes: the modern Eve, which embodies the independence and freedom that women of the 20th century were acquiring.
Spain, following foreign fashion, joined this trend. And with the help of graphic illustrators such as Rafael de Penagos and Salvador Bartolozzi, spread this new conception of woman throughout the country.
