La incorporación de Internet en la sociedad, así como las TIC y la web 2.0 han ido generando
una total transformación en el funcionamiento de los medios de comunicación. Elementos
como la hipertextualidad, multimedialidad e interactividad han sido los encargados de
sustituir a los clásicos teletipos que predominaban en las redacciones del siglo XX. Setenta y
tres años más tarde del dispositivo telegráfico, Henry Jenkins acuñó un nuevo concepto que
marcaría un antes y un después en el mundo de la comunicación: el periodismo transmedia.
Esta nueva especialidad periodística posee la capacidad de adaptar de forma transversal
historias en múltiples plataformas y formatos. Por ende, los cibermedios se encuentran en una
constante fase de experimentación, así como los géneros en una evolución y transformación
persistente.
Este reportaje pretende hacer una reflexión sobre las transformaciones del ecosistema
periodístico en los últimos años a través de testimonios de responsables de medios locales,
regionales y nacionales.
The incorporation of the Internet into society, as well as ICT and Web 2.0, have generated a
total change in the functioning of the media. Elements such as hypertextuality, multimedia
and interactivity have been responsible for replacing the classic teletypes that predominated
in the drafting of the twentieth century. Seventy-three years after the telegraphic device,
Henry Jenkins coined a new concept that would mark a before and after in the world of
communication: transmedia journalism. This new journalistic specialty has the ability to
adapt stories across multiple platforms and formats. Therefore, cybermedia are in a constant
phase of experimentation, as well as genres in a persistent evolution and distortion.
This report aims to reflect on the transformation of the journalistic ecosystem in recent years
through testimonies from local, regional and national media managers.
