Diseño de maqueta portátil accesible para el yacimiento arqueológico de Tiermes

El presente proyecto fin de grado consiste en el diseño de una maqueta portátil del
yacimiento arqueológico de Tiermes para mejorar su accesibilidad.
Se pretende conseguir un producto que siga las premisas del diseño universal para dar la
posibilidad de que todas las personas que lo visiten sean capaces de orientarse y
comprender la ubicación de los restos arqueológicos que existen. De esta forma, cabe
destacar el carácter táctil del producto, que permite que aquellas personas que presentan
algún tipo de discapacidad visual puedan igualmente utilizarla.
La maqueta se acompaña de una leyenda, diseñada a partir de las mismas premisas, y que
ayudará a los usuarios a identificar todos los elementos que la componen.
Para garantizar su protección consta de una caja plegable que envuelve al producto, y que
permite transportarlo gracias a la incorporación de una cinta que el usuario podrá usar para
colgarse el conjunto y llevarlo cómodamente durante la visita.
This final degree project consists of the design of a portable model of the Tiermes
archaeological site to improve its accessibility.
It is intended to achieve a product that follows the premises of universal design to give the
possibility that all the people who visit it are able to orient themselves and understand the
location of the archaeological remains that exist. In this way, it is worth highlighting the
tactile nature of the product, which allows people who have some type of visual disability to
also use it.
The model is joined to a legend, designed from the same premises, and that will help users
to identify all the elements that compose it. To guarantee its protection, it consists of a
folding box that surrounds the product, and that allows it to be transported thanks to the
incorporation of a strap that the user can use to hang the set and heat during the visit.
