Propuesta STEAM para 4º de Primaria: una oportunidad para las fuentes de energía

En este trabajo se argumenta la necesidad de introducir la Educación Ambiental en las aulas,
intentando aplicar nuevas metodologías para valorar y mejorar los conocimientos de los
alumnos y alumnas. Para ello expondré un ejemplo de propuesta basada en la metodología
STEAM que se podrá llevar a cabo para alumnos y alumnas de 4º curso de Educación Primaria.
La problemática ambiental es un tema muy interesante para trabajar en las escuelas, intentando
transmitir todo tipo de valores o hábitos que ayuden a los alumnos y alumnas a construir un
mundo mejor basado en el respeto y el cuidado del medio ambiente. La idea principal de este
trabajo es concienciar a la sociedad de que la Educación Ambiental es importante introducirla
en las aulas. A través de la metodología STEAM se pretende que los futuros docentes sean
capaces de implementar en sus aulas una educación integral basada en la resolución de
problemas, mediante preguntas e investigaciones. He elaborado una propuesta didáctica para 4º
de Primaria, donde los alumnos son los protagonistas de esta historia y tendrán que investigar y
solucionar los diferentes problemas medioambientales, centrándonos en las fuentes de energía
que existen en la actualidad.
This work argues the need of introducing Environmental education in the classroom, trying to
apply new methodologies to assess and improve the pupils´knowledge. For it, I will present an
example of a project, based on STEAM methodology, that is going to be carried out it fourd
cycle of Primary Education. The Environmental issues is a very interesting topic to work in/on
the schools, trying to convey all kinds of values or habits that help students build a better world
based on respect and environmental care.
The principal idea of this work is to raise awareness that Environmental Education is important
to introduce in the classroom. With the help of the STEAM methodology, it is intended that
future teachers be able to implement a comprehensive education in their classrooms formed by
the resolution of problems, through questions and investigations. I have made a didactic
proposal for fourth grade. The students are the protagonists of this story and they will have to
investigate and solve the different environmental problems, focusing on the energy sources that
exist at present.
