Facultad de Educación y Trabajo Social Tejero Sanz, Minerva 2023 Este Trabajo Fin de Grado, a través de una propuesta didáctica titulada “STEAM WOMEN PROJECT: English Learning with Inspiring Scientists”, aborda el desarrollo de la competencia intercultural y digital en el contexto de la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la Lengua Extranjera (Inglés) en Educación Primaria. Serán varios referentes femeninos estadounidenses destacados en el campo de la ciencia, las responsables de que este aprendizaje basado en un proyecto tenga cabida en el aula. Esta propuesta es interdisciplinaria, pues no se encuadra únicamente en el área de Lengua Extranjera (Inglés), sino también en Ciencias Sociales y Educación Plástica y Visual. Además de fundamentarse en el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos, establece conexiones entre el entorno real del alumnado y el proyecto en sí, tratando un tema de interés relevante para ellos y para la sociedad. Asimismo, se destaca por su carácter innovador, dado que los estudiantes harán uso de Inteligencia Artificial para poder llevar a cabo la propuesta. This Bachelor’s Final Project, through a didactic proposal entitled "STEAM WOMEN PROJECT: English Learning with Inspiring Scientists", addresses the development of intercultural and digital competence in the context of teaching and learning of the Foreign Language (English) in Primary education. Several prominent American women in the field of science will be responsible for bringing this project-based learning into the classroom. This proposal is interdisciplinary, since it is not only framed in the area of Foreign Language (English), but also in Social Sciences and Visual and Plastic Education. In addition to being based on Project Based Learning, it establishes connections between the students' real environment and the project itself, dealing with a topic of relevant interest for them and for society.
