El presente trabajo plantea la problemática que ha generado el aumento de conductas
suicidas en personas jóvenes en los últimos años. Se ha realizado una investigación con
adolescentes en situación de exclusión social para conocer su opinión ante la muerte y el
suicidio y comprobar su conocimiento al respecto. Entre las distintas conclusiones, lo que
ha quedado de manifiesto es que estos jóvenes no son conscientes de los factores que los
acercan a esta problemática, aun siendo un colectivo de alto riesgo.
This paper raises the problem that has generated the increase in suicidal behavior in young
people in recent years. An investigation has been carried out with adolescents in situations
of social exclusión to know their opinión on death and suicide and check their knowledge
about it. Among the different conclusions, what has become clear is that young people
are not aware of the factors that bring them closer to this problema, even though they are
a high-risk group.
